Jack Stone's artistic journey traces back to his boyhood at the Baltimore Museum of Art, where art lessons and encounters with masters like Picasso and Degas fueled his creative spirit. Formally educated in Journalism and Fine Arts, he earned his MFA in painting and drawing from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro in 1979.
Jack's life took a significant turn when he served as a Navy Hospital Corpsman during the Vietnam War. Upon returning, his career path spanned roles from a DC news reporter to an emergency room tech and more.
In the early 2000s, Jack transitioned to teaching art, sharing his passion in various settings. After eight years of private instruction, he took a pivotal step in 2016, dedicating himself fully to independent painting.
Jack's art, marked by technical mastery and emotional depth, graces private collections and corporate spaces in North Carolina. Beyond the canvas, his life is a vibrant mosaic, with marriage, children, grandchildren, and a lively household.
